This is a QPA (Quality Practice Accreditation ) accredited family practice providing friendly, confidential, ethical care to all members of our community. Limited parking is available at the rear of the building. We have onsite pathology so your blood tests can be taken, no appointment required and almost all blood tests are bulk billed. All children under the age of 16 are bulk billed.
Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
Consulting late, by appointment, 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month.
After hours
Please ring 8363 6173 at all times. If the surgery is closed a locum doctor can visit. The surgery number will automatically divert you to the locum service.
Appointments
Please ring 8363 6173 for an appointment. Appointments are usually booked every 15 minutes. Longer consultations are available: please advise reception staff if you require extra time.
Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly and sick children will always be given priority. We do not offer walk in appointments.
Reminder system
Our practice is committed to preventative care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering appropriate preventative health services. If you do not wish to be part of this system please let us know at reception.
Your personal information
Your personal information is kept confidential and secure at all times.
House calls
We will try to visit our regular patients at home (if you are too sick or have a condition which prevents you from attending the surgery). All visits incur a $70 gap. Please ring 8363 6173.
Telephone Calls
You can contact your doctor by ringing during surgery hours: our reception staff will take a message and the doctor will return your call promptly as necessary. Emergency calls will always be put straight through to a doctor. Email communication is not encouraged; it is not safe or confidential. Exceptional individual circumstances are always dealt with in a timely fashion.
Results
Your doctor will tell you when your results will be available. It will be necessary for you to make a follow up appointment to discuss your results in almost all circumstances.
Fees
Drs Walsh, Selby and Cheong are privately billing doctors however children under 16 and Veteran Affairs card holders are bulk billed. All consultations may be paid for by cash or by using credit cards via Medicare Easyclaim which allows full payment and your rebate to be settled on the day of consultation.

We encourage patients to give feedback, positive or negative, about the service we provide to the Doctors, Reception staff or anonymously via the Suggestion box (which is located in the waiting room). Feedback enables us to improve our services.
